This two-movement sonata, one of Mozart’s most popular, is presented here in its original key. In neither of the two movements have any notes been changed from the original violin version (apart from the octave down transposition). The “Easier Versions” stay always in the Neck Region. In order to achieve this, the higher register passages have been transposed down an additional octave.
FIRST MOVEMENT
It is quite possible to “mix-and-match” between the “Edited Concert Version” and the “Easier Version”, playing the easier version for some passages and the original version for others.

SECOND MOVEMENT
This is a delightful Minuet and Trio movement, with the Trio in the minor key.
