In classical music circles, we sometimes hear the expression “The 3 B’s” (Bach, Beethoven and Brahms). There is however one “B” missing from this club of gigantic composers: The Beatles.
Here are some of their best loved pieces, transcribed for cello. Playing them without accompaniment makes little sense – some accompaniment audio files are included, but these are not of good quality. For the accompaniments, buy a Play-Along album with CD and use The Amazing Slowdowner when the key needs to be transposed.
