This delightful violin piece is perfectly playable on the cello in the original key with no note changes necessary. The original violin articulation (bowing) features a lot of portato/staccato. In both the Edited and the Easier versions offered here for cello, these articulations have been substituted by either gentle spiccato in the middle of the bow or by gentle “rubbed” detaché (separate) bowstrokes in the upper half.
